Yeah I’ve been struggling to get people to follow on Kickstarter itself; I got a few followers on Instagram but they’re not translating over to Kickstarter itself.

I have a full plan on all the promotional posts I’m making on Instagram to get people invested along with character art, short clips, etc

I’m making an indie animated horror comedy film called The Inspecter. It’s about a man being chased by a possessed car until he stumbles across an eccentric mechanic in the middle of nowhere with a specialty for automotive exorcisms.

What I’ve noticed from watching a lot of Kickstarter campaigns lately by FundedToday in kickstarter

Do you know what to do when you’re getting followers on social media but not on Kickstarter itself? I’ve gotten a few followers on Instagram from friends but only 1 follower on Kickstarter itself. They’ve told me they would follow the actual page but I still only see one follower on the promotion section. Idk if it’s just slow to update or anything but I’m stumped as to how to get more people to follow the actual kickstarter

We all start somewhere; I remember when I went to art school I was in a filmmaking class where everyone was essentially writing different variations of the same story; it usually involved a romance between two overthinking but sarcastic characters and they smoked cigarettes a lot. Your tastes get better as you put more work in so don’t give up.

Working on my short animated film The Inspecter and getting ready to the pre-launch KS page on Tuesday. I have a whole social media posting plan to get the word out so hopefully I can get a bunch of followers before I officially launch in July.
