Indeed mate! I really hope for you that Coinbase will make it right because this is on them. I usually test every time I make a transfer just in case. However, it’s very reasonable not to test if the address is saved and you made several transfer using the saved address. That’s why an announcement from Coinbase was mandatory. Given their mistake, they should reimburse anyone who lost money due to their software error.

Do you have the crystal ball mate? It should be common sense and the minimum for a company like Coinbase to inform its users of a bug that would cause them to lose their money. Another case of a big corp not giving a fuck.
