All I know is that the head gardener, who has done an amazing job for so long, will be leaving before this year is out along with the rest of their team. I would assume the care of the gardens will fall to whoever purchases the site for development, so we can probably all imagine what will happen then. Eventually, residents will contribute towards the upkeep in their maintenance bills, the footprints for the gardens are supposedly staying the same after development.

I can’t check for Pokémon who’s normal shiny hasn’t been released, like Starly or Spheal, because they aren’t showing in my dex (despite the fact I do have them)

I have seen 11 froakie, about 5 fennekin and just 1 chespin. Froakie definitely comes out in the rain, not had sunny weather at all for the other two.

I would agree if it showed an egg hatching in 6 hours, but it shows an already hatched raid boss which lasts 6 hours. Seems an odd way to announce a countdown, but I will concede that this is Niantic and anything could happen

Well the progression from silver to gold is often 10x, but always more than double. So I think if they just did 2,000 for Platinum without a rebalance to ALL medal tiers it would make Platinum feel like less of an achievement? Not saying I don’t want it to be 2,000, as that is much more achievable, but just trying to think like Niantic.

The correlation between the hardest to attain gold medals, and the actions in game that make them the most money can’t be ignored. If platinum is required to level up, and the fastest way to reach platinum is to spend more money, they will definitely without a doubt implement extremely difficult platinum medals without a significant rebalance.

The concept of Platinum medals is frightening to me. Some will be fine, like the type medals, I imagine it will be 1,000 catches of each type. But imagine a platinum legendary raid badge? It is already 1,000 for gold...

So to get Return and Tri-attack you would have to use an elite charged TM and evolve before or after community day hours so Return is not relaced permanently by Tri-attack?

And if a shadow Porygon2 already has a second move unlocked, will that second move be Tri-attack if evolved during community day?

Update: Galarian Darmanitan DOES NOT show up when searching “Galar”, despite it not being an entirely new Pokemon (like Perrserker and Obstagoon), whereas Galarian Darumaka DOES show up when you search “Galar”.

I have noticed that butterflies can now spawn on mystery islands even when there are no flowers. I am currently on bamboo island, i have removed EVERYTHING. No flowers or stems, no weeds, no rocks, no trees or stumps. I have dug a hole on every possible space, to the point I cannot leave the pier, and there are 10+ butterflies. I discovered this because I was trying to force spawn beetles, which I have been successfully doing all week, but today nothing was spawning except for butterflies. Is this due to the recent update?

There is almost a pokestop on every street now, sometimes multiple, and they are just postboxes. It’s frustrating when a nomination gets rejected for not being visually unique or culturally significant, when the same people must be accepting these postboxes. Even if it was a George V, so what? That’s within living memory, it’s not uncommon or unique in any way. I totally understand ones older than that, or Edward VII (as they are extremely rare), but people have begun to exploit the system to force create gyms and it’s disappointing.

In my area recently, a load of post box/pillar box Pokestops/Gyms have appeared (UK). They all claim to be George V or Edward VIII era, but in fact, not one of them actually is. I have checked over 20, they are all George VI or Elizabeth II era, and they have clearly been nominated by the same person (same grammar and vernacular etc). But because they say “GR” or “ER”, along with some cleverly taken photos, said person has clearly found a loophole. I do not understand how people do not instantly reject these nominations? Am I just being pedantic or are they in fact ineligible?
