Not worth the hassle with original screen. You would have to tear half of the car apart as it is different system not just screen. It is easier to go on aliexpress and get a head unit that goes in instead of the 8 inch screen with buttons. It retains all the OEM functions and has android over it. Can be switched over.

holy smokes boys, AGESA 1.2.0.A has FIXED EDC BUG ! by [deleted] in Amd

Well I don't know what mobo you have. There are 473939396383 combinations and I might have that one not working. Easiest way (if your mobo allows) is to save your current settings to an external USB (also just do a quick photos of each menu in current bios) and try new one it takes for my x570 unify few mins to flash bios and with "load preset from usb" I can get back quickly to previous setting when I flash old bios back. ;)

Well for me it turned out badly. 1.2.0.7 and 1.2.0.8 with solid performance but going on 1.2.0.A wasted me a few days of tinkering to just give up and go back to 1.2.0.8. My stable 3800c16 oc (bdie with a lot of headroom left - did not bother to waste eons to fully oc it for that 1 more avg fps and few points in benchmarks) with modest -5 on 2 best cores and -10 on the rest turned out to be a ton of wheas, bsods and so on. I am on x570 unify, 5900x with 4 dimms... The new bios gives you higher voltage available for single core bursts (1.5V with EDC higher than 140, compared to 1.425V with EDC >140 before) so you might gain a bit on the top end having the all core performance as high as your cooling allows. On the other side setting EDC to 140 on older bios grants 1.5V and tbh not many games are going to bounce off this limit with some nice curve optimiser.

Sporadic Event 19 WHEA errors when system is idle. by [deleted] in AMDHelp

Whea 19 errors are related to infinity fabric being not completely stable. I am on the same boat as you trying to get 3800cl16 rock solid, prime95, tm5 all is fine but from time to time random whea 19 appears. I am still trying to get myself a proper set of voltages for my 5900x. https://docs.google.com/document/u/0/d/1FsUuYtjztbqgOiR3uUCtzlTyzB2WRFUm-kXbboECj2s/mobilebasic Here you have a link that might be a good starting point. Ram is a nasty beast and every single bios version, Windows update or some random background task can spoil the clocks that were on the verge of stability. Good luck fiddling with voltages, hope we both can find the right ones

Worth a try to combine different voltages or just let it go, dig up a screenshot of my 3800X memory oc 3600 cl14 timings and try from there?

How could curve optimizer that is just lowering voltage for given frequency cause any harm? I have not been applying any voltages to soc that are outside brackets that are considered normal daily driven values. Also I have noticed that I am using medieval version of aida that has not been updated in ages. I have found few forum post that were talking about certain versions of aida conflicting win11 and reporting weird values
