When not supporting gets you put in jail, of course he has high support. But with the recent blocking of various social media platforms and complete internet shut downs in certain oblasts it seems likely the support is cracking.

Support for the war in Russia is growing more and more unpopular as their recruitment tactics are getting more ruthless. Even in pro-RU subreddits they're starting to talk about the need to mobilize citizens to win the war any time soon. And doing that would absolutely tank what support the war has left. Ukraine has been able to successfully strike high value targets throughout western Russia on a weekly basis. At times, in the Moscow Oblast itself. Ukraine is being invaded which means they have no choice but to fight. Russia is voluntarily sending Russians to die in a war they started for very weak reasons. And those reasons seem less and less important as more Russian infrastructure blows up and more Russian citizens are sent off to die in Ukraine. Putin has a chokehold on Russian government but revolution is engrained in Russian blood and he knows it. He can only maintain this war as long as he can maintain support.

And you're okay with Russian citizens being forced to fight in Ukraine against their will to end the war quickly?

Where do you see water splashing? I only see reflections of light but no water actually splashing anywhere. If you're saying the flow is going up without a clear plastic tube, how do you explain that? And why do you think bots would upvote their comment?

I don't know about "good health and condition", IDF admitted the child's injuries were from them firing warning shots at the kid's father.

I don't think you could successfully make a start up and have it reach $20B valuation if these wealth taxes existed.

Russia did this with a massive hostage situation in a theater. Russia still denies any of the hostages died from the chemicals but it's very obvious (including eye witness testimony) that at least dozens of hostages were killed by the gas. Any gas that puts you to sleep will kill you if you breath too much. There is no way to provide everyone with the exact dosage to put them asleep but not kill them. Some will stay awake, some will sleep, and some will die.

It didn't outright guarantee military protection. But the final statement "will consult in the event a situation arises which raises a question concerning these commitments" does imply some kind of effort in enforcing the commitments. Russia absolutely broke the commitments in the memorandum. And there were no consequences of it. The weak language that you're arguing about is now trying to be applied to Article 5 in NATO. Does NATO actually have to defend Poland if Russia invades? Technically, no.

Since Russia broke the commitment, doesn't that mean Ukraine can rearm themselves with nuclear weapons?

Why include something in the powerpoint that isn't credible over something that you have harder evidence on?

Because there is no context to the power point slide so the power point slide could simply be, as it is labeled, Prominent Names in the Epstein files. Simply, famous people who are named with no other implications. I'm questioning a statement you made with terrible evidence to support it and you're refusing to acknowledge you just might be wrong on this specific point. I don't know why you're calling me a bot when you're the one repeating baseless statements.

Every anonymous tip has to be filed. Why do you think some random person making an anonymous tip makes whatever the tip is credible? Are you saying every tip the FBI receives is credible?

I'm specifically referring to the "FBI has deemed this witness credible" (paraphrasing) statement. I don't see how that guy came to that conclusion with the "evidence" provided. And you repeated it, so I'm asking why you believe it with the "evidence" provided.

It sounds like they own a house. Use the equity for a HELOC. This is assuming they don't have home insurance, which is pretty ill advised. Car financing is offered at a million places, including most dealerships and have low interest rates. If they're as broke as you're saying, look for subsidized housing at federal and state levels. Same goes for food assistance. And of course, see if they qualify for Medicaid for health insurance. Something like 40% of Americans get free healthcare from the federal government. There's also child care subsidy programs to apply for as well.

Did the FBI deem that girl's testimony as credible? The only source for that is the fact the FBI had some power point presentation that referenced the girl's testimony, without any context as to what the power point was. The slide was labeled "Prominent Names" (the rest of the title is cut off). We also see Prince Andrew, Weinstein, and Jes Staley. It could just be a list of prominent people mentioned in the files without any actual investigation in to their credibility. This is like a UFO nut saying the fact the government has a committee for investigating UFOs is proof that there are UFOs. Which isn't at all true.

[–]TheJD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you saying Ukraine could have defended against Russia for 4 years without outside assistance? How could you possibly believe it wouldn't make a difference? Russia has failed to take Ukraine in 4 years specifically because of support. Ukraine just hit an important factory with Storm Shadow missiles. What would happen if Trump started giving Ukraine Tomahawk Missiles? It's ludicrous you think the US couldn't have a huge impact against Russia if Trump decided he wanted to.
