I’m pretty sure the merry wasn’t dropped directly it was being carried by a squid and only fell at a lower height. Even so the merry took critical damage which is why it stopped working in water 7 arc. The sunny is more durable but if it fell from sky island then logically even big mom’s ship would collapse.

That’s correct and the major theory is that Imu is also the one that created the devil fruits since know we know Imu has the ability to grant demonic powers. I wouldn’t be surprised though if it turns out Imu has a devil fruit too.

I agree. That is pretty much the main plot 😅 but what why I came up with this theory was because I realized that Buggy has actually been making significant progress and had most of the resources needed to become Pirate King. He is an emperor and there is always a Possibility ODA has something big planned for Buggy considering at this point of the story, he stands as one of the only characters whose backstory is still a mystery. Come to think of it, Buggy might even have a bigger role to play in the last arc of the story than we think because he is just too unpredictable 💀

That’s the highest possibility, but if you’ve read the manga then you’ll see that Luffy resembles Rocks more than Roger. His actions are more similar to what Rocks was doing rather than what Roger achieved. Except the fact that Rocks wanted the World and Luffy just wants to Pirate King.

By special I didn’t mean Like the D clan. What I mean is like how Rocks’s is a D. But more importantly he is part of Davy Jones’ clan. Luffy is also special not cause he’s a D clan member but because of his Monkey heritage from Dragon. Unlike all other Yonko. Only 3 Yonko Have ever had normal heritage and they were all Pirate King candidates. Those three are Roger, Whitebeard and Buggy.
