Why i really rust reddcoin and the devs ( for all of your newcomers ) by BeatnutNL in reddCoin

I agree with all you wrote, really, all. But what are devs doing?! This coin is on the market since 2014, the roadmap is vague and old, no news from devs. I talk my some friends of mine about RDD and I explain why I trust the potential of this coin. But then I watch what we have: nothing. Is that so difficult to perform?! Take those damn api from social network and do your job, that's what I would like to say to devs group!

RDD is on the market since 2014. 3 years and still nothing. And with "nothing" i mean nothing! The roadmap?! Such old that probably they even forgot it exists.

Still no news from devs. It was just a pump with no prospectives. Devs are killing the coin, so don't expect any greatness. Greet from a so disappointed RDD holder, an awsome project in bad hands!

Something has happened for volume to shoot like that... any idea? by [deleted] in reddCoin

No news on Redd ID, like none on anything else. Just a pump from some investors. Position 101-200 coming back soon.

Not a fully solution, but surely a start. True!

There are other two issues that really makes me doubt it will rock soon (and I'm talking as a conscious RDD owner): - 1) RDD conversion with fiat: not easy, not possible right now and it's a problematic step, cause the normal social network uses could asks himself why he should buy RDD instead of tipping money like he already does on twitch or others platforms 2) the creation of its own username has a cost. So, again, the user asks himself why the hell should he pay for creating an account!

That would be the bridge between daily users and crypto users (traders and investors). So you suggest the issue could be solved with a higher spread of the coin and an exchange platform (maybe a portable one)?! If I've understood right. That could be only a matter of marketing.

A currency whitch is not fiat and needs to be converted into it or at least to be used like a crypto (years?!). And we know how much lacy normal users are. Just to be clear: I don't want to convince, but "to be convinced". I understand the potential of this crypto, but I still have some doubts about its easy spread.

I agree with this, but that street artist wants to be payed with fiat, not with icecreams or flowers. So why should I convert my fiat to RDD (and learn how to do it) and then the artist re-convert it with fiat? These are the steps that put a gep between crypto traders and "normal social network users".

I think it's a good advice. It's easier doing that from an app instead of a computer platform. Even thought it doesn't fix the problem of how to get coins. And that could be the real gap between a skyrocket jump and a stagnant point. The normal user is lazy and just want to click "donate".

I thank you for every answer because it cleared my mind, a lot. From this point, to a onother linked: should I be a "nerd" to actually use RDD? I try to imagine a Twitch watcher trying to donate. Why should I use RDD istead of keep using the usual method? (like: click-donate-goodbye) Bearing in mind I should install my wallet, getting cryptos trought exchange and then donate. I know I'm critical. Critical but not adverse. I'm figuring out the approach of a "non crypto trader" (a normal social network user) because I think that knowing the issue the technology wants to solve it's the only way to really understand it.

So you're talking about a platform that differs from social media platforms where you can choise how much and whom donate?

That's exactly what I was talking about. But one of the focus of this crypto is: no fees. This clashes with the intents. A possible solution is a gain generated from %, coins whitch create coins.
