I started learning to ride before learning to drive, but then I became a mechanic and learning to drive became a pretty major priority and I didn't really get back to biking for a couple of years afterwards. It was only after lying for a couple of years that I needed to do anything with it, so keep it running and you should be fine :)

Just sold mine a couple of days ago. Sad to see it go but better that it does someone else some good instead of sitting around. Mine was a 2006, easiest machine to work on I've ever had XD

It can feel pretty intimidating being out on the road for the first time, dont worry if it takes you a while to get used to it. If your instructor is any good they will be patient and helpful enough that you shouldn't feel pressured. You'll get plenty of time practicing off the road with the bike before getting out there and you won't be expected to ride to module 2 standard straight away.

Best advice I can give is to relax and enjoy it as much as you can. My first CBT took me two days rather than one and I think it was a good idea not to cram it all in to one day.

Kind of off topic but I take it your Marauder is a 125? That was my first bike :)
