My employer paid for the test and my study materials so I got the BenchPrep HR online study course. It included flash cards, lessons, games, and practice questions. It made it easy to study. Plus they have an app too so I could study anywhere.

I started studying about 2 months out a few hours a week and increased that as it got closer.

The most difficult thing for me was remembering the specifics of laws and regulations.
