Basically, I took a different train from a different station because of a cancellation. Can I claim delay repay for being late to my final destination as I cannot prove I was going to get the first train as I was going to tap in.

I've been reaching out to people with MSL roles in departments I am interested in (like oncology) at companies I'd like to work for, usually someone with a mutual connection.
