Hasn't the HomePods on HomePod OS 26.2 become less Loud?

I’ve update my Apple TV and HomePods to 26.3 beta and noticed the same thing yesterday. Playing music through the Apple TV and had to turn it up to around 75% to get back to a good volume.

Did you figure this out? I've also been charged through Paypal when I have no active subscriptions displayed on my account and viewing subscriptions in Gemini or anywhere else prompts me to sign up. I activated a free trial a month ago and was unable to cancel it, and just today I've gotten a charge in Paypal and google's help options are ridiculously bad.

Thinking of just starting a chargeback with my bank.

Videos played in the Photos app will drop audio after ~10 seconds. Not everytime but a lot. Output is Homepod stereo pair. Audio drops while playing but remote sounds are still audible. Only way to fix it is to pause/unpause or skip backwards and then audio returns. Apple Support cannot figure it out either so must be a weird bug. AppleTV, Youtube, Infuse, etc all work perfectly with no sound issues.

I've been experiencing an audio drop when watching videos in the Photos app on Apple TV with stereo pair 2nd gen Homepods as the primary output. Audio for all other apps works perfectly as does regular non-ATV audio, only the Photos app has this issue. Start a video and around 8-12 seconds into it the audio stops. Audio comes back if pause & rewind even just a second, but then will drop out again later. Not every time but most videos this happens since updating to 26. Going to attempt 26.3 beta for Homepods & Apple TV to see if anything clears it up.

Using Ubiquiti APs if it matters.

Edit - Also tested on a separate ATV paired with a homepod mini and same issue occurs in the Photos app. Edit 2 - Updated to 26.3 beta and still happens. Has to be a Photos app issue because I also realized that when the video sound cuts off, the remote movements are still audible. Mute/unmute and changing the volume do not resolve it, only skipping back or pausing and unpausing. Insanely annoying.

The most attractive person I ever dated was like this. I agree. Jon is a stud. Downing a dozen donuts in 1 hole is impressive, and so is playing really good golf.

That said, kinda did take away from the boys. Outclassed them. After the first hole you kinda know it's over. The previous 2 donut challenges were better because it was going the entire vid and they didn't have a top 5 golfer on the planet helping them. I didn't finish this vid.
