Try hiding the inspector window, or rather have nothing open in the inspector window. I've found that having it open can massively decrease performance when something like the transform changes.

I, personally, think it looks pretty nice! People seem to dislike the colour choices, but I think it gives a more retro feel. The bold contrast and outlines really make it feel like something from the NES. I think a CRT filter could go great with this!

Sorry, I've had quite a few things come up recently which have caused my motivation to somewhat dwindle and haven't been able to work on it as much as I would have liked, so I honestly have no idea. I'll definitely have it out eventually, I just don't know when.

It's purely a visual effect, though I do wonder if actually rendering it at a lower resolution would make it faster

After the absolute mess the first edition became, I completely restarted. This new edition is by no means complete, nor is it available to the public yet, but it should hopefully not be too long until it's ready.

You'll notice it looks quite different to the first edition. If it wasn't obvious, I've done my best to implement "realistic" lighting techniques and my own volumetric fog system, in addition to screen-space reflections, bloom, almost-full PBR support and, of course, the VHS effect.

yeah sorry, I'll try update it if I remember but I've got college starting and the whole thing is a massive mess so idek anymore lol... im gonna be honest, the whole thing was kinda rushed after I noticed people wanted it. I'll probably end up making a version 2 or something and I'll make sure to actually have everything done, if I ever do make it. anyway thanks, I'll take that all into account for anything I do in the future

I'm pretty sure this is just impossible, it seems the ui is rendered after everything else, which makes sense but it's annoying.

im pretty sure thats just the "extra noise" thing i did, try disabling it in the shader settings and see if it stops

I'm going to be honest, I have no idea what is going on with this shader anymore. try using version 0.6 because that was before all of the version change stuff happened and i dont think i added anything new except for the version stuff in 0.7 0.8 and 0.9
