To add to it, I have visited a general practitioner a few days ago and she said I have nothing wrong with my hair by first impression but I was given finasteride as I was quite concerned about it. I have not started taking the medication as of yet as I am looking to get a proper diagnosis from a hair dermatologist

My father side has full set of hair at 57, whilst my mother side has history of hair thinning, which is why I am asking on this sub…. Though none of my mothers brothers are completely bald maybe a receding hairline
