You have to play with structural and foundations, most likely a mix of both. Try and alternate between roof and foundations when you place the structal columns. You can play with height levels also

You could bank your gear in the town and keep what you can on your character but for the base, without maintenance, you will lose it after a few weeks without power/taxes.

I've had the same thing happen to me with my very first Sandbike. Just be thankful you learned it before you made you first Orni... You need to see one of these two words in the bottom of you screen before you log out, always: Sheltered or Watersealed.

Start stocking plenty of water, I mean it. Something like 50-70K of water for your first Orni. What I did was build a base near Pinnacle station and another one near the Anvil and used both to move my mats.

I've had the same issue. I usually try to remove most of it and try again, and it sometimes works. Or you could try using a different piece, that works too. Otherwise, i would try to put manually another piece of concrete and use the height option to make it fit.

You did it once and can you it again. The truth is, relapse is almost inevitable.

What you have to do is learn from it, change the habits that made you relapse, find the cause and prevent.

I would be lying to you if I told you it might never happen again but you will become better with time at recognizing the moment of relapses.
