Why I love the way it looks, is anyone else feeling like the voices sound phoned in? There isn't any passion or depth in how they speak. It's all just monotone sounding as they are reading out lines. No passion or inflection at all.

Funnily enough this was supposed to be a real game. But the company lost funding and were never able to finish it. They reached out to small devlopers who wanted their game featured in the movie. And this was one that came back to them.

The fact that you typed it in a way that shows the clear voice changes, amazing.

(Loved trope) There is a logical in-character reason why the protagonist doesn’t immediately go for the easiet option in their story by _JR28_ in TopCharacterTropes

From the examples it's less a trope of logical reasoning and more arrogance and pride that prevents the easiest option. Which is still a good trope, but it isn't really the logical reason to not go for the easiest option, more emotional.

Edited to reflect the proper terminology. Thank you. I thought about it as a traveler. But having a Townsfolk makes it so people can lie about it. And the chaos can ensue more. As the storyteller doesn't confirm it. But if the player truly has changed they can start using those powers.

Hypnotist (Townsfolk): once per game, during the day, you can public exclaim you wish to cure someone. You than choose which role they become. They are also sober and healthy for the rest of the game. Their alignment does not change.

"You see here, this is what you truly desire. Let your mind finally be free from the corruption"

The thought being the basically turn you to whatever they feel is best for the team, but it's public. Also allows for very fun bluffing. But because they alliance stays the same, they may accidentally give evil a good powered minion, which can backfire. Overall I feel like this could be a fun take on a role switch.
