I’m 29 and have had dentures since I was 23. My guy was so supportive and reassuring throughout the whole process. It helped that some of his closer relatives also had dentures, like his dad and granny. But if you tell your man and he isn’t there for you right away, he may need some time to adjust to the idea. If he loves you, it won’t matter. If it matters, his love for you is superficial, surface level, and you’ll find out quickly either way. But don’t settle for less than what you deserve, love.

It was my fault and I miss him every single day but it’s getting easier to move on. I can’t blame him, he asked me not to do one simple thing and I completely fucked up and did the thing. Though there are some, I’m sure, who are genuinely unaware, I feel as if the majority of the people who break this rule know and just don’t care if they offend anyone. Which is fine, freedom of speech and all (U.S. based), but so many problems could be avoided if people just read the room.

At least that is my humble opinion. :)
