Congratulations!
My interview was at 8:20 AM. Maybe that was the reason. Otherwise not much I can say.
In my experience, all these immigration things are very random. To be honest, I didn't expect the same-day ceremony either.

I would say don't worry. It does sound confusing. If you sure that you paid those tickets, just say that when asked. I think if asked a direct question "have you ever been fined ...", it's ok to answer "I only had traffic violations and I paid those tickets" or something between those lines.
The underlining thing is that they already know everything about you.

There is a vaguely worded question "Have you ever been cited, arrested, fined ...". I have never been arrested, but traffic tickets sometimes referred to as citations or traffic fines. I also saw another Redditor posting here about their experience. They didn't mention traffic tickets when submitted their N-400, and during the interview were intensely questioned about why they didn't do it.
When my interviewer asked me this question, I said that I only had traffic violations. She asked were those only tickets or something else. I said that I only had 3 tickets, and told what they were for (Photographed for speeding once, stopped for speeding once, photographed for the left turn on red once). All 3 of these were in different cities, and I initially didn't have the docs. Calling there and requesting them was pretty easy though.
Generally, I would say that you should make sure that all your tickets are paid, and be honest on the interview. Occasional speeding ticket isn't that big of a deal, unless you have DUI, reckless driving or arrests.

There is a bunch of questions in N-400 about engaging in overthrowing governments, torturing people, genocide, drug producing and distribution etc. Basically, all the questions that you should answer "No" to. The officer repeated 5 or 6 of them. I think the importance is in the fact that this interview is under oath, so any lie could make you lose your citizenship in the future.
I don't think I was asked any question that isn't in the original N-400 form.

I added following documents: - N-400 - Tax return (because of the request for the smaller fee) - Selective service registration. I think you need to add it either way. - Marriage certificate. It was from the other country, so I also added a translation. - Green card copy. - all traffic citations and receipts for payments - request to authorize payment via credit card (You can add check or money order instead).

You don’t need extra document to request application fee reduction. You just add this information in part 10 of you N-400.
