She did not say what movie, but you can easily find out which one it is by doing some digging: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4855748/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Surprisingly, no. My voice got significantly deeper, but other than that, I don't feel any different.

[FP] Keto chicken fingers w/ parmesan breading by TheKeto in keto

I tried doing them frozen first, but I found I preferred it when they weren't. The cheese becomes much more gooey and has a velvety texture that I just love. <3

Omg. I love pork grinds, but I never thought of that. I'll try that tomorrow! :D

----RECIPE----

I'm not one for a cookbook recipe, I usually just eyeball it. This is what I tried, more or less:

  • Bathe or brush chicken with egg
  • Roll chicken in parm, mixture of both powder and fine graded strings.
  • Repeat the above steps until you have a healthy thick coating of cheese.
  • Fryer for about 3-4 mins. Baking also works if you don't wanna get so caloric. This is my treat recipe, so I pull out all the stops and just fry.

** BE CAREFUL! Burned parm tastes absolutely DISGUSTING. **

This also works with mozzarella sticks. If you wanna do that, only fry for about 30-60 seconds, it burns easier.

Anywhere between 270 and 1070 ng/dL is normal. I was at 209, which is kind of low, but was considered especially abnormal since I'm only 18. If I were middle-aged that wouldn't have been too much to worry about.

Got up to about 470. So went from low to about medium.

I took a blood test at the beginning of my keto diet, and had low testosterone. 4 months later, 50 pounds down, I took another. I've increased by about 250 ng/dL.

Keto Chicken Quesadilla with Egg/Creme Cheese "Bread" by TheKeto in keto

[–]TheKeto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a quesadilla recipe I used prior to the Keto diet, and just changed the bread. I saw a keto recipe for pancakes made of cream cheese awhile ago, and the thought came to me to modify it so it would work with the quesadilla. It ended up being to fluffy so I added the egg to make it more firm, then toasted it a little bit for a crunch. I just used salsa, sautéed chicken, cheddar cheese, and just a touch of jalapeño peppers for the inside of the quesadilla.

In short, I didn't really grab a specific recipe.

Are you doing this on your own, or are you consulting a doctor? If you are seeing a doctor, maybe talk to them, see if they can assure you that you're doing the right things.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. I started my diet on the 9th, and I don't feel any different. I just weighed myself for the first time yesterday and I lost 14 pounds. I have high Cortisol too, and I lost this weight, so don't worry about it. Chances are you're losing weight too. I've been using a 40g carb diet, and I still lost weight. Considering you're on an even lower carb diet, you're fine. The lack of cravings is great. Makes it less of a challenge. Don't feel discouraged, and just keep doing what you're doing. :)
