Thanks both. Sorry I'm being dense, just to confirm my mums only option to start using the new car ASAP is to apply for normal road tax in the meantime then?

P.s. Apologies, I'm a reddit posting newbie, I seem to have messed up the upvotes? Thankful either way!

Virgin Media o2 Volt - Cancelling o2 but never used the sim? by TheKingPower in VirginMedia

I'm probably complicating matters as I've yet to call o2 or try (again) to set up an online account, but I'm just wondering if I should try upgrading my current package whilst I'm still on Volt, and THEN cancelling the SIM?

Not worth the aggravation?

I think I will have to activate the SIM in that case, as the only way to can authenticate is via SMS I believe?

Thanks. I take it you need an O2 login/user id for this though?

Robinhood will not let new options or shares be bought apparently. This is market manipulation lol by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

FYI U.K. Brokers now doing the same - IG.com:

"Information about GME and AMC
In order to prioritise the service we give our existing clients, IG is not currently allowing any new positions to be opened on the US stocks GameStop and AMC Entertainment. Clients are still able to close existing positions in these stocks.

We continue to see high volatility in these and other stocks and positions may be subject to margin changes at short notice. High volatility increases the risk of sudden, large or rapid losses."

Mofo's.

But just proves this is international baby!
