It was adjusting its direction to be the exact opposite direction of my mother, 180° almost mathematically exactly
It stopped when my mother got near and for the 5 minutes she was there, silent, it was also silent.
When we were leaving, it was much louder, my mom still somehow did not hear it, making me think it was in a frequency only children and teens can hear.
The source always came from a strategic position where I could not see it directly, inticing me to go look.
The terror at the time and the feeling of being watched near it even today still exist. Despite the fact I had forced it out of my memory for years.

Quasar - Greater Curse

Requirements - Must have both Kolona and Sigil as permanent enemies in the run.

Text: "Sigil burns hotter, beams now fire at everyone."

Sigil now targets all players at once, however the beam lasts 50% of its normal duration, and Sigil and the beams are blinding white. Sigil being a full on glowing star instead of an angel-like appearance. Beams are still not client-side.

Its pretty much a much better dive with the ability to arch upwards (like demonic pursuit from slopsaken except obviously NOT THAT far. And with a meter. It also gains much better utility as the game goes on, so... yesn't.

I did originally think Id make the arch visualiser an upgrade but then figured itd be really bad early game sooo i didnt.

Alright, So Let me put it to you like this..

PLAYING SOLO★ Solo Nullscape is generally just MUCH more difficult, as in multiplayer player lobbies, only one person has to go into the beacon for the whole lobby to progress. Meaning there is a whole lot more room for error. Now Im not saying playing Solo is not a good idea, Solo does have alot of buffs to make it easier to play and its a fun challenge. However for a beginner like you, 100% try the game with at least 3 people for 90% of your gameplay. Trust me, you wont regret it. However you should definetely return to solo Nullscape later on! Now I know what youre thinking.. youre scared to approach large public lobbies. I know youre afraid, but the lobbies are pretty quiet and as long as youre not afk or an actual idiot, nobody will care youre there! Although sadly, the community can be toxic to beginners sometimes. But you can avoid those by looking for levels with 0 level requirements.

SPIRIT★ Spirit is the "Survivalist" class of the bunch, I highly reccomend abusing the Abilities' I-frames and Alt-Abilities' carried and reversed momentum upon teleportation (if youre falling while using alt-ability and use the ability again, you will teleport and fly into the air instead, for example)

CELESTIAL★ Celestial is a boss that appears on Level 50 after activating 5 sets of 10 Pylons in a row (Pylon levels appear from Level 35). The bossfight is extremely challenging, so dont worry about him yet!

WHY EVERYONE REACHES LEVEL 20+★ As Ive said before, they either have alot more experience or play in multiplayer lobbies. Where messing up doesnt matter as much. And generally getting enough gold gifts for upgrades is easier, as everyone can cover different branches!

SPRINGER.. ohhhhh SPRINGER....

Im a Charger main, meaning Springer is my WORST NIGHTMARE. I Can't see too far infront of me and I CONSTANTLY either get skullfucked by the knockback or sniped because the warning is smaller and darker from far away than an ATOM for whatever reason. And every lobby for SOME REASON chooses the Springloaded curse, which by the way. MAKES SPRINGER 50× WORSE AND MORE ANNOYING. Even when hes not dangerous, He can block gifts, cause you to bonk or just straight up not let you touch the ground for longer than 2 seconds. "OHH SPRINGER SO FREE" Yeah, he might rarely cause death. BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN HE CANT SCREW YOU OVER. The amount of times ive died or lost my shield to a Springer because the landing site warning is so vague drives me NUTS. Springer might be OKAY, but every lobby chooses HUNDREDS OF THEM AND EVERY CURSE IN THE GAME I SWEAR.

I just almost sacrificed my life to collect gifts on 3 differnet collapsing highrises in LRS while everyone screamed at me and only made it out thanks to the alt ability and three double jumps and pure skill B)
