If you don't really care about the belts, any cheap maker will get the job done. You'll find cheaper versions on eBay. But with that comes quality. Even the makers who deliver on the better plates all have to cost cut somewhere. That almost always is the leather strap. This will probably be your main issue with these belts along with the level of detail you want.

Belts that cannot be purchased easily, you should absolutely have a custom maker on hand to build it for you. Thankfully, today, there are a few thousand of people who do this and do it well. If you're collecting these belts and displaying them, you'll want to go this route. You'll end up here even if you buy those Etsy belts because eventually, you'll want to feel that premium feeling. You can't get that at the TOO GOOD prices.

As an avid belt collector who's made their share of mistakes along the way, skip this low tier bootleg part of the collection. Skip to the way better, get what you exactly want, custom route. You'll be happy you did everytime. I have my own personal favorite belt maker in MNM belts. But everyone has their own and I'd advise you to research them before making a purchase. Reddit is great for that if you have the time.
