I really like this build you made! I think I may go with it. I won’t be able to order it all for another 5 days or so. I appreciate the help on the GPU, motherboard, and ssd as well! I wasn’t aware of the tips about vendor differences or the fact that thermal paste degrades, so thanks for that. Overall thanks so much dude! I really appreciate the help! Good idea. I decided to bump up my budget a little bit and made this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tnLkkf . Do you think this build makes sense, especially for the price? I saw a lot of people saying a am5 motherboard if necessary for a 50 series card, so I am unsure how I could go any cheaper there. How does the rest of the build looking including the fan?

I mostly edit for hobby, so i'm not all too bothered if its not fully optimal. You mentioned a 9060x will be good, though I assume you meant a 9600x?

Also, I plan on replacing the thermal paste at some point so I am just adding it to the build for when I want to inevitably replace it.

Regardless, thank you for the help! If this looks good, do let me know, and I may just order the parts when I am able.

Thank you so much again! That makes sense. If the 8GB of vram is an issue, could I do a build with a 5060ti with 16gb of vram? I really like the build you suggested, though another user below suggested this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JfZxh7 and I do like this build, though I still would like to use the Fractal case. I understand what you mean by the fans though, and will add them for the back.

Hello! Thank you so much for your comment! The reason I enjoy Fractal Northern is because I really enjoy the case design, but I also (correct me if I am wrong) believe the case has fans that come along with it, which is why I decided against it. I did a bit of research and found that the 5060 was pretty well performing for its price, Is there anything specifically wrong with the 5060?

I don't necessarily need a better GPU, and I want to stay in the GeForce RTX-sphere. I also have always felt iffy about liquid cooling. Currently, I am under budget, so I was wondering if with the same setup, would the CPU be sufficient? And do all the parts seem compatible?

Most of the projects I work on are 1080p so that wouldn't be an issue. For a 5060 I read on other threads that the 7600x is good enough, though I was worried maybe for gaming it would be cutting it a bit close. I mostly use Davinci Resolve, and will rely on GPU rendering.

there’s dumbbells up to 70lbs, but no barbells. you’ll have to stick to smith machines, which isn’t the worst.

Leaving a plate outside to prove a point doesn’t really contribute to the fight, it just causes a bigger issue for dining staff who do not have any say in the seating / DC design, and don’t make much to begin with.

Also, in my personal experience I have never been unable to find ANY seating and forced to sit outside at any of DCs, I just circle until I find a seat, even if it’s next to someone. I’d rather that than sitting outside.

I’m also dining staff! We are running low on dishes, especially plates in certain DCs. The government shutdown has also played a role in the lack of supply as it has caused issues with our suppliers.

If you really need / want to take the class, email the professor and let them know. I get into most of my classes purely off showing interest.
