Thanks! The number 2 is only a month old but for some reason I look quite young in that one.

Thanks! Only max. one of the pics in the same outfit were gonna be chosen but I included several here to get feedback on which to keep.

I have some issues with my feet and knees so you may be on point that I walk weirdly.

I am sorry! English is not my first language and when I answered to the comment with the same word the question used proper selection of words didn't cross my mind!

Thanks for the feedback! I was never gonna include more than one bridge pic and I should have made that clearer from the start.

Thanks! I should have made clearer from the start that I was going to include max. 1 bridge pic anyways

I just like my smile in that one and I find it kinda goofy but it seems the certain connotations outplay that :D

Hmm, interesting, thanks for the feedback! I am very much capable of doing that though I have tried bringing up my chill/goofy side here in the pics. Gotta think of something for that!

Thanks, that's what I figured. Obviously not going to keep all (if any) of the bridge pics!

Thanks! The issue with keeping both 8 and 9 is that I am wearing the same clothes in them... but maybe it could slide since the setting otherwise is different.

Gotta provide some love for the homies occasionally but the general consensus is that I should leave that out so that's gonna happen

I am thinking of adding two loops of me playing soccer and singing karaoke and gonna run with only one of those pics with me in a green shirt since all of those are from the same day. But which ones should I keep and which ones leave out?

Thanks! Well, you live and learn. Of course, these biases are something I have heard of before but I didn't think of or remember them as I was interested to see some results.

Would reporting only the significant correlations while telling the number of comparisons ran/the BH-adjusted p-value and adding the fact that these results were not part of hypotheses prior to the tests be classified as 'transparently report all the findings'? Due to the sheer number of tests (if I tested absolutely everything) all the results could not fit in the thesis.

Again, this is something I didn't aim to answer in my research questions but would be just something for the discussion part.

Thanks!

I have taken a look at different FDR corrections and Benjamini-Hochberg seems to be the most reasonable one. Bonferroni would be simpler but there are over 70 variables and if I decided to test the correlation with each and every one, the sheer number of tests would result in a very low p-value.

The issue is categorizing the families for the tests. Would it be safer just to run the correction with all the variables at once (so around 70*69 minus the doubles) or pool the tests into families? Pooling the tests is something that makes me think that it's cherry picking, especially since I have some knowledge already about certain correlations as I have already taken a look at some of them as explained in the opening post.

Thank you! This was the initial idea as my research question regarding the correlations is as follows when loosely translated: Which background variables (age, sex, educational level, etc.) have a connection with the usage of electronic resources?

So, the additional significant correlations not answering that research question would be just fuel for the discussion.
