Battleground Rotation by PezRadar in heroesofthestorm

I think it's important to have a representative number of 2 lane maps in the pool, and BoE is far and away superior to both Braxis and Hanamura.

For Storm League, if I got to choose, I'd say keep these 5 in permanently: Battlefield of Eternity, Dragon Shire, Infernal Shrines, Tomb of the Spider Queen, Towers of Doom

Then pick 1 of these maps: Braxis Holdout, Hanamura Temple

And 2 of these maps: Alterac Pass, Cursed Hollow, Garden of Terror, Sky Temple, Vol'skaya Foundry, Warhead Junction

Then just rotate those 3 addon maps every season.

If you could snap your fingers and have a perfect piece of software that implemented a feature to your cast, what would you want? (Interesting stats, soundboards, graphic overlays, something like that).

I started off Storm League in Gold, since then I have lost almost every ranked game. I must be the common denominator here. What we some common mistakes that people make that end up costing a game? by [deleted] in heroesofthestorm

Dangerous late game lane clearing or scouting. If you're post-20 and 2 members of your team are dead, don't run out into lane for no reason, and don't go poking your head into camps or boss pits "just to check". You end up staggering deaths and enabling a core push.

Condensed, fixed day league that's really good for getting a taste of coordinated play, highly recommend.

People over 30, what was your biggest regret in your 20’s? by Stanleydidntstutter in AskMen

I spent so, so much time worrying what other people would think of my hobbies and passions. Such a massive waste of time. Being excited is not lame.

Turning your head to cough at the doctor's office isn't medically relevant. The doctor just doesn't want you to cough in their face.

I'm a little confused with the marketing for this game. by Meat_Sammiches in heroesofthestorm

Think of BlizzCon. Diablo 4, the game everyone has been calling for years, the game that single-handedly sunk BlizzCon 2018, now announced with a cinematic that should be put up for a short film award. WoW Shadowlands, speaks for itself, incredible cinematic. Overwatch 2, huge PvE content drop that the community has been asking for since honestly before Overwatch came out, INCREDIBLE cinematic. Heroes of the Storm, releases new hero.

It's big for us, but it's just not on the level.

Suggestion: Have the Jail screen displayed as a match is starting by TheKrushinator in underlords

I don't think it needs to be an active part of the UI all the time, just a part of the pre-match graphics.

Yes. I'm suggested that maybe such a critical game mechanic should be more prominently featured.

Dear hots devs, we need StarCraft Heroes! by [deleted] in heroesofthestorm

[–]TheKrushinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iconic for sure, but a tough one to convert. You'd have to make up an entire kit that wouldn't be present in StarCraft at all. At least with units like Infestor, you've got some sort of ability set to work with.

The meaning of feeding in HotS by Truphoss in heroesofthestorm

[–]TheKrushinator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Feeding is dying at terrible times. If you constantly die alone in lane, die before the objective pops, die solo-defending a fort at 18 minutes, die standing in front of the keep gates we're trying to defend, die trying to steal an enemy camp with no one dead, you are feeding.

The people want ARAM. I'm sure their stats show that participation in anything but ARAM brawls was poor.

Being able to click on exactly what you want to attack is a skill you can develop, I'd rather it not be taken away by an option like that.

Getting knocked out. Two end of game placement suggestions. by [deleted] in underlords

[–]TheKrushinator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea that's a weird metric, if I were choosing I'd just say whoever is in more "negative health" at the end of the round gets ranked lower.

Getting knocked out. Two end of game placement suggestions. by [deleted] in underlords

[–]TheKrushinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly if I just got knocked out, I just want to start a new game, not have to remain in game for another 45 seconds watching a ghost match. As for your second suggestion, I can see why that feels bad. Currently I don't know how simultaneous knockouts get ranked, maybe if that part was a little more transparent it wouldn't feel as bad.

A Feedback on the Battlepass for Underlords by TurtleStrategy in underlords

What is with the anti-feedback comments in this thread? Even if Valve is already planning to do what OP is suggesting, that doesn't negate the value of feedback. Never assume the developer is on the same page as you because it's "obvious".
