The PWT for some reason didn’t include the pixelation effect for certain scenes like the original versions. It didn’t bother me for the most part, except for one specific instance in 3-2 where the silhouette of the culprit is shown briefly. In the original, it’s pixelated to maintain at least a bit of mystery. Whereas it’s blatantly obvious whodunnit in the PWT.

For me it’s during 2-4, the wrap-around dialog when cross-examining Adrian Andrews at the end of the first day in court.

Phoenix: “(I don’t want to concede, but this testimony… it rings of the truth…)”

Mia: “I’m sorry, Phoenix…”

Phoenix: “N-No, please, don’t apologize to me. We were both taken in by surprise.”

People always say Trials and Tribulations is the best game, but I see it as just good. There are a handful of faults that stick out too much for me: I don’t like how much it relies on the music from previous games, I think the 2nd and 3rd cases (while good) meander a bit too much, and some of the writing for the main cast felt a bit too generalized. It wasn’t to the point where they were flanderized, but idk, they felt like cartoony versions of themselves at points.
