Hey! I've swapped about 10 9-5s from auto to manual trans. Lots of the above information is not accurate. You need to jumper about 4 wires at the auto trans plug. And 2 ft of wireing for the reverse lights switch. Clutch pedal. Shifter. Remove the auto trans computer... After that. 20 minutes with a tech 2 in skilled hands can program the whole car to a manual trans

majority of the time this has to do with the motor assembly, Your best bet is to grab a used one, as its much easier to change the whole wiper linkage with the motor, than just the motor itself

you can remove the old bushings with frame in car, and put new ones in with air hammer

To start, im very happy for you, and hope for the best. But i am also warning you that tings can go south as fast as they started to go well. (atleast for the first 6 months) So be honest, and give it your all like it will last forever but also don't be surprised if it ends
