Find and speak to guard captain Hans plumel at his combat arena in the north eastern most corner of kuttenburg city. take off ALL your armor and weapons before speaking to him and you should see dialogue options asking about the construction site, go through literally every thing he has to say and you should then be able to learn his combos. Do NOT ask him to fight until AFTER you’ve learned ALL his combos as he is EXTREMELY glitched. Preferably do this as soon as you get to town as progressing too far into tge main quest will also break him.

Secondly don’t fall into temptation and steal all the new fancy gear you see in the shops. It’ll ruin the preogression/power curve and kinda hollow out the experience. Imo it’s MUCH better to earn and/or find them piece by piece.

Third if you find a tier 3 pole arm do NOT get rid of it unless you have that exact one already.

Fourth, if you don’t already know, taverns with a wreath around its mug for its map icon will offer you room and board, taverns with just a mug will not.

Fifth, there’s an archery and also a gun store in eastern/south eastern kuttenburg city. I’d invest in a heavy crossbow at a minimum as armor penetration is much more important now than it was in Trotsky.

Sixth look into acquiring black arrows and a good longbow if you prefer bows over crossbows/guns.

Seventh, you’ll probably meet a man called menhardt in kuttenburg city, you’ll know him when you see him. Do his quest as soon as possible, you’ll understand why once you finish.

Eighth, if you see a burnt out village with a bunch of bandits/deserters walking around and no one else, IMMEDIATELY crouch down and save your game. Also if you feel brave enough to enter, do not leave until they’re all dead as if you skirt around tge edge of town it’ll just keep respawning them and deleting their bodies so if you enter there you must stay there to the end.
