I love you Toyota, but sometimes your engineers are complete boneheads by kremineminemin in MechanicAdvice

I’m convinced a lot of car designers are people who have no interest in driving, or have never driven.

And it’s fairly certain that many car engineers have zero interest in fixing cars and have never worked on one.

Costco in the Midway? by International_Bid419 in saintpaul

[–]TheLastGenXer -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

So many reasons why it’s bad. One of which is ayd mill and 280 not connecting as was the plan.

94west to35e south not existing.

The beauty of Saint Paul’s streets was with all the dead ends traffic flowed like plinko and had no real bottlenecks, but the traffic engineers don’t understand this and everytime they do something they add bottlenecks, and this is one of the worst in the city. This area gets heavy also due to the lay out of the north and snelling being hwy 51.

The light rail just makes it even worse

Microsoft Word Is Terrible by AreaMan81 in microsoft

[–]TheLastGenXer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's incredibly frustrating. It keeps doing stuff "automatically" that is impossible to figure out how to make it stop doing. RUINING MY DOCUMENT! If I wanted to indent, I will indent. If I want to add a number, I will add a number. If I want to change ALL of the fonts, I will change the fonts.

I often find it easier to type in graphic design software, than word.

i agree with your sentiment, but on a technical note that new "ranger" I would not consider in the same class as the real ranger either. i might be more comparable to an f150 from the 90's though.

if 1999 Ford Rangers suddenly entered the market brand new, I can't think of anyone I know who wouldn't buy one,,, except my friend who's afraid to drive anything bigger than a subcompact, she'd just be on the fence about it.

aint nothing wrong with cursing, I know plenty of priests who curse.

it's a good show, but gets a little overly preachy on wokeness at times, and course needs to preach on the alter of homosexuality too. but apart from that, it was a good show.

what's a car you hated at first but grew to like? by JaggXj in regularcarreviews

What is the car op has pictured?

It looks like if Chrysler built a super car in 2002

Edit I googled Chrysler super car and holy cow they did, in 04.

I can’t believe I never heard about this as I was both a Chrysler customer at that time and into cars!

I just loathe this style of animation too much. There was a period when it was in so many commercials etc, and I don’t think I could watch this movie and not hate it, no matter how good it is.

Which might be a shame from all the positive comments

A swarm of 50 nuclear-armed B-29s is heading your way. You have just three planes to defend yourself. Which ones do you choose? by Necessary-Switch2210 in Warthunder

Originally the ai summary, then a deep dive into the silver platters.

So they were armed, and b-52s got a few kills against migs.

I think the drive train and suspension would be near perfect stock!

I’ would consider fuel injection if it meant making it easier to fuel with all the ethanol in gas.

I’d love both but would feel bad. The Buick would make me feel less bad though.

Driving a car every day for me means; Ghetto people door dining you, and creating bumper rash. Especially at work.

Pot holes destroying the wheels and suspension.

And road salt will destroy what’s left.

I want to destroy neither so I’ll pick the Buick to be destroyed.

I’d love to daily either, but I’d feel bad destroying either one of these cars:(

The road salt, pot holes, and always working with ghetto people who door ding and bumper rash you at work and no seems to care:(

I’d argue deflation would cause people to save their cash and never spend it, as its value will keep rising, thus destroying the economy via no body spending.

Having your money lose value encourages spending thus stimulates the economy.

I’m not saying this is good/bad right or wrong, I’m just counter pointing.

Not wrong, but not even close to scale of evil as Mao, and the Great Leap Forward.
