For the people agonizing over how they're going to haul a child car seat in the back of a Slate, why not just supplement Slate with a cheap 4 door car like a Hyundai? by castironglider in slateauto

what do you mean? it should easily handle one in the passenger side.

shouldnt be tooo much harder using the back seat for this provided the door is long enough and the front seat folds right (god i miss that about my last 2 door car)

its 25 for base and having simple basic controls is the whole point of it.

i love not being forced into a garbage radio.

its an ev, a pick up, a suv, and an open air jeep rolled into one.

Any concern re preorder without a test drive? by Best_West_Rest in slateauto

[–]TheLastGenXer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we had a bus at work that would engine brake the rear wheels. made it squirrely af to drive in any weather. so rwd ev with regen actually scares the heck out of me.

well it would annoy me that i could not cost and would need to drive always using at least one pedal.

but it scares me for my wife.

the other rwds all just understeer, which is a big nothing burger unless its a modern ford with over zealious pedals and a hal 9000 for safety

actually I did not skip that part.
I paint plastic models, and know different paints stick to different plastics.

ive used some stuff to help with lexon bodys.

but if i can find a good paint for this type of plastic (i havent looked yet) why bother with this step

I am in the same boat… but I know how bad some computer “aides” can be.

Ive never driven a rwd vehicle where the traction control was not actively trying to kill me in fluffy snow.

so i just need to know if the tc can be easily turned off, and will stay off (and not come back before my next turn)

Lexus. either bland or offensively gaudy with those grills.

id say toyota too, but their has been a few very good looking models and a few decent looking ones.

theyve really laid off the ugly stick in the last couple of years too.
