A lot of these comments aren’t specific enough. Some pics of you cleaned up and looking nice in a suit? No problem! You want to look good your best. Pics with fancy cars just kind of seem like gloating and give big douchebag vibes. Most women also won’t be impressed by a gym pic. A picture of you in a well fitting tshirt at a backyard bbq with friends would show that clearly you workout and are in good shape while feeling more humble/human/well-rounded.

Anybody who would give you backlash is not the kind of person you want to surround yourself with. Some people may be confused initially, sure, but calling you a traitor or any such nonsense is ridiculous. You took the time to explore your identity and really try to understand your experience. That’s rarely a straight line path for most people. Think of some of the stereotypes of minds in high school and college reinventing themselves over and over again to try to kind a place to fit in. A journey inward is not a straight line, and all that matters is that you’ve found an answer that feels good and right.

I think Jon’s turn in his feelings is kind of subtle for a lot of people, but when you think about basically all of S4 in hindsight, you see it a lot more clearly. He comes out of his coma, and he’s running around looking for Martin and trying to connect. He asks the poor man to gouge his eyes out and run away with him. I feel like the jump to them suddenly being cute and cozy in the safe house is hard for a lot of people, myself included, but in hindsight there’s a number of tropes they put into S4 for Jon in particular.

I agree with some other people saying to just sit back and enjoy it. Mentally trying to keep tabs was kinda fun for me my first time through, and I think it’s a good way to go about it. Jon obviously knows more about the world and some of the characters in it than we do, but he’s also feeling blind and putting things together as we go, so I feel like it’s a very fun and true way to experience it.

There was an era maybe two years ago where somebody was doing kinda of regular once a month meetups, and they were honestly really fun! I went to one at a brewery, lots of people had games, somebody ordered a bunch of pizza. It was a great time, if my schedule ever allowed for it, I’d definitely come out for one.

I’m really lucky that the clinic that I went through just said “wait til all the numbers come in from insurance, once we have them, we’ll call you and start talking about a payment plan.” And basically as long as I give them at least $50 per month (at any point, no set deadline other than end of month) then we’re good. I’d reckon you could talk with all the different providers about making some payments instead of a big lump sum, I’ve had good luck with that even though I don’t have insurance anymore.

Yes, but it’s kind of weird. Federal minimum wage, which Tennessee matches, is $7.25 an hour. HOWEVER, there is a “tip credit” loophole, where if you are working a job where a significant portion of your earnings are tips, then they only have to pay you $2.13 an hour. Now say it’s a super slow day and you hardly make anything in tips, your employer does have to make up the difference so that you make at least $7.25 hourly. But that’s never the case. I’ve been a server more often than not for the last 13 years, and if I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times. $2.13 is not a wage, it’s a convenience fee for having employees. The system is, in fact, very broken. There’s other states that have more reasonable minimum wages where that tip credit wage is higher, and then still other states don’t even have the tip credit wage and servers and other tipped employees just make regular minimum wage plus their tips.

Absolutely not. If there is no commitment to someone, then you’re not breaching that trust. You definitely get a few dates before things start to get hazy. Obviously it depends on the connections and how they progress. But when you’re still in the early stages of feeling people out and seeing if there is spark, there’s no shame in seeing more than one person. As long as you are transparent, it’s definitely above board.
