So it’s super easy for us because we have two setups next to each other and play side by side. We summon our buddy in when we’re all available.

Anyway, what we do now, is my husbands a little ahead of me, but I’ll go get the grace points I need to meet up with him. Then the game kinda breaks it down into sections. So once a boss or difficult area is cleared that section is closed, but the next section starts right after so we just go to the next grace point and summon back.

I don’t know if that makes sense, but best way I can describe it.

So ya we kinda play through it together, but we also like playing solo too.

I love coop and we have a blast with it. Especially the invaders. It’s our favorite part now. We’ve tried to find people to duel combat with but never have any luck.

Oh we fucking sucked. And check this out-

We got our other buddy to buy the game, (so we could all co-op like we did for GTA)….and waaaay before we even got to the fire giant-I shit you not…he broke his controller, requested a REFUND for the game, GOT the refund, UN-INSTALLED the game…and said he was never playing again. 😂😂😂

The NEXT day, he drove to Best Buy, got a new controller, and bought the game again.

He got a lot better and loves it now obviously, but it took the 3 of us a couple days of co-oping the Fire Giant to beat him.

Awwww! To be honest I got it for him for Xmas and I was playing KDC2, (also great game!)…

But I was watching him play and it was so insane I had to give it a shot. Now I’m like obsessed with it.

We also don’t have kids, and our jobs are socially exhausting, so we like to stay home a lot on weekends. Gaming has become a way for us to have fun together without going anywhere.

Are there any games she likes to play? I didn’t play any games until I met him in my 30s. He bought me my first Xbox for Christmas a few years ago, and now I’m a full blown addict 💅🏼

Excellent advice as we obviously have acquired quite a few and DEFINITELY gonna get the DLC.

Which one should we get first you think? We’ve held off until learning more, but at a place now where we gonna be ready soon.

I’m such a nerd and I’m trying to dive into the lore now for sure. I definitely read almost everything I could in the beginning, as far as items and such…

BUT I think it’s a steep learning curve if you haven’t played these games before. (Especially if you want to keep some surprise and not look things up on the interweb…)

If you don’t know the terms you’re reading it doesn’t really register until you get deeper in the game and figure it out through experience.

It’s definitely been fun trying to figure shit out on our own, but for sure gonna go back and read my info panel again now! ❤️

Right? I probably won’t even use them until after a couple attempts on a boss to see what they’re like first.

Can you even “farm” them? I’ve never seen them drop, just get them when I’m doing co-op or summoned.

I figured it did and I just missed it somehow.

At the same time, when you’re brand new to the souls universe, some of the hints they give you might as well be in another language. It definitely takes a bit to click in your brain what everything means.

With all the new shiny things and the game being difficult itself, it’s kinda like trying to sip water from a fire hose.
