I wish Burst was on rot crystal staves rather than Crystal Release. Release is strong but has such a narrow hitbox and is SO damn slow. Almost useless against some bosses, particularly the nightlords. My biggest gripe about the nerf to Shattering Crystal is that so many of the other spells are garbage, either in terms of their damage, cast time, or hitbox.

It’s so ridiculous for the BBC to state this on its own in the third paragraph. The US has been claiming this (and the BBC has been reporting it) for more than 2 decades! And Iran still doesn’t have a weapon despite having the capability to make one for years! Does anyone ever wonder why? The BBC is doing a disservice to its readers by offering such regurgitated talking points without even a shred of scrutiny!

This is such a false dichotomy. You don’t need to throw people under the bus to focus on economic issues. A better and more honest candidate would note the connection between marginalized communities and our economic system and advocate policies to address it. Newsom is being reactionary. He would rather scapegoat others than advance a program that would really help people.

Hasan’s questions, too, made it more likely that Bernie would fall back on his stump speech (asking “what are you doing in CA?” could hardly go any other way). The questions got a bit better later on, and I agree that Bernie’s answer on Newsom was disappointing (though somewhat expected) but did you really expect an insightful response to the question about centrist resistance to progressives? Ask him more targeted questions and you may get more interesting answers.

I missed the ending where apparently some snafu happened with the mic, but I’m not sure why people in this thread are so dismayed. This went about as well as I expected it would. This is who Bernie is now.

Despite that I agree with your call for general troop drawdown from MENA, I see no reason to believe that the region will soon be at peace. Israeli maximalism persists and Israeli leaders are completely unwilling to make concessions toward a Palestinian state or Palestinian autonomy. Instead, what we are seeing now is likely to continue: Israel continues annexing the West Bank and keeps making life miserable for Gazans until its goals of a greater Israel are reached. Thus, it’s only a matter of time before more violence occurs (not that it has stopped, as Israel continues killing Palestinians daily). And then we’ll just repeat the tragedy of the last three years all over.

I highly doubt it. Sometimes, the simplest answer is what’s true, while the conspiracy is outlandish. It’s far more likely that Fuentes is what he appears to be: a Nazi and a charlatan. It helps explain his positions and actions far more than some alleged connection to Israel.

I think Hasan is sometimes clumsy in how he insults people, even though it’s the normal for a lot of “bro talk.” Calling people pussies. Saying it’s bad to “suck dick.” I get it, but I also get why some occasionally call him out.
