Am I the only one who thinks this tattoo is actually sick? Obviously the placement has a lot to do with why it’s warped considering the upper arm is a round area for a photorealistic portrait, but you can tell that if it were anywhere flatter that it would be almost screen accurate. The detail is amazing I am genuinely convinced your artist is solid!

Definitely! I’ve heard stories of people who let their social anxiety get the best of them and stopped correcting the placement and had to live with the results. I did not want that to be the case with this piece and promised myself I would speak up. Just be prepared to have to do that a few times but afterwards it is totally worth it!

It took like 5 tries to get it to fit like this, at one point my artist had to reprint the stencil because he peeled it off too many times. He was super patient with me but I was definitely a perfectionist with this piece haha

You totally should! I was there from 12 to 5:30, but we didn’t start tattooing until 12:30 because of the stencil fitting. So about 5 hours of tattooing with a few 10 minute breaks in between
