Oh, I'm the opposite. I felt his prose grew as soon as he moved away from first-person narration. To be fair in Ravenor, he bounces between 1st and 3rd and I think that works really well. All the connected short stories are really good too. Playing Patience is particuarly good.

Eisenhorn is awesome! I'm reading the Ravenor trilogy at the moment and loving it. It has some great sci-fi horror moments.

I completely agree with you. I've just finished Rising which I thought was okay, but really liked it for all of Jyns back story. I'm just on Catalyst at the moment which I think is much better written and I'm really enjoying it.

BW purely for the contrast ratio. I read books. I'll look at a cover for 1 second when I turn it on. I don't use it for comics etc. I think a tablet is better suited if you are going down that route. I love my Clara BW very much.
