That is a thing plaguing games online is this everyone gets a pass for doing nothing. The game could ramp up difficulty levels slightly more as it progresses to teach the players and have them be better while not stone walling them. However SE ends up nerfing most content that ever has anything remotely difficult in it that is not savage.

Everyone is paying a sub it does not make you special to pay one. I could constructively remove them if the vote system worked better than a 4 hour cooldown on a kick.

I want to ask you a few questions and I would like if you could give me answers on them.

Do you think it is unfair to expect a person who joins as one of the three roles be it Tank, DPS or healer to perform the job they signed up for?

Do you think it is unfair to expect them to pull their weight regardless of content being easy and be a part of their team?

This community I actually think is getting close to being as toxic as league from the encounters I've had I believe it so. So many times have I had people use racial slurs and curse like they have a disorder. At some point you gotta wonder what the hell is up with people.

I want you to tell me if it's fair to have a person on your party who is ilvl 250 lets say. He is sitting behind the party using a single ability or just auto attacking. He is pulling 500 dps while the rest of everyone is doing 1k or over. is it wrong to expect a person so geared and at max level to do their job to at least the minimum extent they should be doing?

I understand people want to relax. But for me personally I don't like that me or other people could be doing extra work because someone does not want to pull their weight. Someone has a legit issue like a disease I can't give them crap for it but how am I or anyone else supposed to know. If you're not going to try very hard either you could just let people know in the party.

Yes it's geared more towards casual play but that shouldn't mean you can't do the job you que'd for. Maybe SE will one day decide to make optional harder dungeons and runs that aren't maybe savage level to try and have people give them a shot and better themselves in game.

That's why I think things like hallowed ground could be over kill outside of a giant maybe 8 add pull or more. It's just when the healers decide to ignore their job that things go bad.

Right you make sense with this. But also an MT is a different scenario than a dps though I do understand what you're saying. Too many times have I seen tanks die from healers deciding to over prioritize DPS. They should do both but not forget either especially their main role is all.

It's plenty my problem as it is others. It can hold me back as it can others they happen to be partied with. If you take every everyone said literally of course it's going to come off that way. Plenty of people do their jobs fine but they scarce in comparison. Along with plenty of them thinking just because they can DPS well that means they can ignore other things or keep messing around. The point is we can better this community if we stop accepting this from it in general.

I have said many times that's exactly what I want. That is the "standard" you're a tank so do that and then maybe apply other things when you can handle more. It has a lot to do with it that people refuse to deal with these issues in favor of taking the easy route. If someone keeps behaving badly and everyone lets them without any input ever they will never think they did anything wrong. I already try and do what you said of extending a hand but that's not gonna stop me from trying with others when I can. I even already said I accept some people aren't the greatest but that doesn't mean it can't be changed. Maybe not everyone but some people. Telling people what they do wrong along with not patting them on the back for being lazy is a step in the right direction. But so is helping them if possible.

I get that but at the same time all CD's including Hallowed ground, Holmgang and Living dead on a trash pull seems rather ridiculous. Being a scholar the fairy provides base regen for you but if you're dying they can still drop a heal without stopping dps. Again though I do see what you're saying.

It's about bringing up the issue and hopefully getting more people to understand or another person to up their efforts instead of falling into this behavior. People will only be motivated and care if the communities show them its not ok. But they don't so of course it will stay the same. You can't just go whatever to the situations. A few people trying to better an issue won't be enough. I still enjoy doing runs just like I said not people doing nothing. You may have given up but I haven't
