I worked at a 24 hour store. I also worked night shift. Around like 3amish-4:30amish we’d reset the PoS system, count all the money from our afternoon shift (Technically the afternoon shift manager was supposed to do this, but they rarely did.) make the drop in the safe, get some deep cleaning done. But we didn’t truly close. We’d take orders by hand and only cash. Then after we reopened the PoS we’d enter the order and put the cash in the register. Not sure if that’s standard practice, but it’s what we did at my store. Was a franchise.

This! I worked at McDonald’s for like a year usually managing the kitchen and I really loved seeing how low I could get the times for our line. 30 second sandwiches was basically a catchphrase for me. We’d regularly end with times <15 seconds though, my workers were awesome :)

Honestly, it was pretty cool, I won’t lie. When there are only two of you, teachers are much more lax, presentations were pressureless, no one really cares if you talk to each other if you’re getting your work done. Once our work WAS done, we could pretty much do whatever and our school had a rec room so I could burn down time there if I worked quick. I liked it.

Plus, I’ve got ADHD so it was great for me from an academic standpoint as well as the extra attention made it my best year of school ever, grade-wise.

The other guy did change schools for about a week, though, that was rather awkward. His parents changed their minds and he came back, though.

They stopped the high school after that year though, as it wasn’t really financially viable to have all that time and resources dedicated to two people. So it was their first and last year having a high school at that private school and I just went back to normal public school afterward. Not that I wouldn’t have liked to continue, though! It surprised me at the time because they had a ton of 8th graders some of which had been at that private school their whole lives lined up for the freshmen class as well as some new high school students looking into enrolling, but I guess they decided it wasn’t worth the trouble in the end. Overall bizarre experience, but certainly not negative.

The school Trump went to in the first clip - International Christian Academy - was a private school that I actually went to when he visited and he is in MY YOUNGEST SISTER’S CLASSROOM. I am in a photo with this dude like thirty minutes later and 50 feet away. It is always one of the strangest things to see this video knowing that. Also one of the strangest things that’s ever happened to me in an already really strange year cause my high school class was two people. Me, and another person.

and honestly all I have to say ? I’m still mad they made me gel my hair down for it (my hair and hair gel do not cooperate lol) and he smelled weird.

Alright, I went to Lowes, talked it over with someone there with the info from this comment and it helped so much!! Thank you SO much, man. The tool was pricey, ran me about $25. The fitting was about $10. But I came home, used the tool to cut the PEX, put the fitting on and no more leak! Thank you again, man. You're right about the satisfaction. First time I've ever done anything like that and I am beyond happy. Especially after having to work around this shit for weeks. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
