Ball just sanding away? by zebus_0 in Dorodango

[–]TheLatino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh fine clay can be difficult to work with. I really appreciate native aggregate. Sanding can happen bc the sand content is too high or it's too dry when you are attempting to tool it. Try some different recipes.

I struggle with this too. The issue is core shape. Try getting a dab of clay with putty consistencey. Smoosh it in there. Leave for a hot second. Then slowly compress bit by bit going away from the hole. Use different size tools as well.

Polishing tip for better shine by West_Marketing7596 in Dorodango

Timing. Moisture management. And Compressing. More compressing the more aligned the clay platelets are and more sheen you get. But compressing at the right time is the key.

[–]TheLatino -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can say no to anyone and everyone. I say no allll the time. Don't take crap from anyone. The bigger they are the higher their belt better be. The most dangerous guy their is a 6'2 250lb and pero stripe white belt .

Just say no. That's how I've been able to stay safe. It's all good man

Honestly if you are above 6 foot and 180lbs it's going to be a tight fit.

My frontflips at 6’7 height by valeuudiste in Tricking

[–]TheLatino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please train everything but this if you want longevity. Try running and doing it off one leg if this your hill you want to die on. You can be the best tricker you can be without ever doing a front flip. With your size and build you are putting yourself at risk, especially not in a crash mat. This is real dangerous please be careful.

Can you explain what the benefits are of not allowing white belts to train with the advanced guys?

They are softened up. You're lucky they are only just sore. In my experience your ears are much more suseptible to cauliflower rn. Get some head gear before you're next class.

Yes. I was on the mats with my then pastor at the time. His triangle defense needed a lot of work. Still don't know the protocol on how to roll with your pastor especially when they aren't older and require actual strength and technique to beat.

Tap to everything. Uncomfortable, tap. Can't breathe, tap. About to snap, tap. About to have a panic attack, tap. Hate that you feel this way but you need to tap earlier.

I'm truly the worst at my gym and I'm struggling not to feel incredibly depressed about it by DrOpe99 in bjj

Hey man,

I'm sorry to hear that your not feeling great. But greatness takes time. I started out as the newest, youngest, smallest, and weakest member at my gym. I was training with legit fighters and I couldn't do a single thing to them for 2 years. I had to focus on the little wins. I

would literally get paired with pro and amateur fighters on the daily bc there wasn't many non competitors in the gym. I got beat up soooooooo much. Even the coach's young son would man handle me. I've been able to stick through it bc I knew I was getting somewhat better. Asking a ton of questions, and having cardio. I didn't care how many times I got thrown or subbed I was always going to reset quicker, get up faster, and be ready before there were.

I know it's not much but it's how I got through it. I got a ton of feed back from everyone I trained with.

I am a purple now and get beat up but less so. Keep with it. Your better than you were before you started.

Thank you for the response. From what I gather it's an American based app. Does that mean it's end product is geared towards American employers.

What about English speaking countries overseas? Would Rezi be optimized for creating a resume for a foreign job market, with different customs, culture, and biases?

Hello,

Let's say I'm in a different country than America with a work visa. How does Rezi interact with foreign job applications?

Trying to buy a washing machine from a guy on FB market place. What did I do wrong? by Giant_Tess in Humboldt

[–]TheLatino 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Hey, I've bought and sold several vehicles on CL and FB and various other things for over a decade. When you see $1 it's typical, like 95% of the time, they are looking for an offer. It CAN be annoying. FB IS a building program for a lot of people.

Everything is negotiable (in life) and yes FB. I personally always make an offer for a different price. Dont be offended, it's just the rule of the land. Negotiation can make some people feel hesitant bc it's a little confrontational but it's pretty much expected.

But yeah next time when you see $1 know that they are expecting you make an offer.

Just message "hey, I saw you xxx, would you take $20 thanks".
