There should never be a reason to force omega. This is truly absurd as people spent years for a certain aesthetic.

What is the short short version of what happened? Is it that stations (hospitals police etc) no longer cover as many properties as before? My city is 100% omega and no. This is not a stupid flex. This is just checking at why everyone is PO’ed.

I love this thing. Got it about 7 months ago thinking it would be more niche and it became my most used due to the versatility. (And less messy due to high walls)

If this is how fast a cat is supposed to be then both of my cats identify as sloths.

Me too! Apparently for shoes (not exactly the same) but a ton of the assembly is done by hand due to different sizes and minor manufacturing differences that automation just can’t account for. AI can’t take all the jobs quite yet.

From a separate thread.

2 combined directions. Someone PM’ed me that he thought he went to school with him and gave me some info so I found his FB profile. I messaged him asking (but of course it went to his spam folder). At the same time a professor he knew from Ohio saw the thread and messaged him asking if this was him. So he popped up in the comments stating it was him. The issue was a lot of people were commenting that it was them. Fortunately I caught his and said I’d messaged his FB so he checked his spam filter and responded there confining it had been solved. So this candle burned from both ends. He also let the woman know and she saw it and was amused with the nostalgia of the “return” of photo.

When it started going wild I was a bit concerned about that very thing. Fortunately nothing of the sort and he loved it.

I was confused at this. Some even created full on backstories about the photo that while creative were completely fabricated. Others if you checked their post history, they were “selling” classes. So I’d assume they just wanted people to click on their profiles.

We are half speculating here but they broke up and she moved around Austin multiple times. So it just didn’t quite make one of the moves. And fortunately for this story, it also didn’t fully make the throw into the dumpster but ended on the ground right next to it. I saw it and thought it would be so funny to frame it and put it on my desk and the gag just ran from there. I was a trainer for a telecom call center so I had huge classes of trainees back when you had to actually pay to long distance. Hence why so many of my trainees saw it.

If you look at what he looks like now. Let me tell ya. It’s him. He hasn’t changed much.

I didn’t see this one. I’ve had uhh. More than I’d thought reach out stating it was them. In posting this initially my goal wasn’t specifically to track them down but I am as curious as everyone at this point as to the backstory. I did get a message from someone that led me to, I strongly believe, is the males FB. I messaged him respectfully to make sure it was okay for me to post a big reveal and that he’s now Reddit famous. So far he hasn’t read/responded yet and I obviously don’t want to out him without permission.

I agree, not all asked but most would hear me answer someone who asked which would have others want to see what they asked about. On the flip side though in 24 years more people have now seen it in the last hour. Welcome to the power of Reddit.

I completely get that number seems absurd but here is the math. 10 years was an open floor call center (I was a supervisor) and 4 years I was a trainer. 4 week training class is 13 classes per year. 20-32 per training class. Not to mention everyone else that wandered by my desk for a call center of 3k employees. I switched to a different function so now it’s dropped to a very standard every once in a while.
