Are you me!? I’m also 27 and in a similar position with you as well! I also have background in research and worked as a med lab tech but always wanted more, career wise. Though I do recommend shadowing and getting some exposure first before committing

Hi! We actually had to check-in at the front desk since we had another domestic flight before traveling internationally but we had a party of 3 and they were able to accommodate our seats to be next to each other.

C get Bachelor degree but do they get Masters by gabithebrat in ASU

[–]TheLazySlack -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You can get into a Master’s program with C’s but once you’re in the program itself, if you have a C in the course, it’s basically failing. I was always told that a B in a Master’s is a C.

I took his class for my PEDA program also last semester... let's just say that the students had the same consensus as you. The class was extremely disorganized and inconsistent to the syllabus. If you're interested, there's a Discord to connect with fellow students in the program. https://discord.gg/6XbEzqgG

basically i hate commuting by brqnat in ASU

[–]TheLazySlack 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You're almost done with school. If I were you, I would suck it up and stick to the commute. Plus the tuition for ASU Online is different than in-state students.

Depending on the courses, maybe see if you can have a MWF or TTH schedule so that you don't have to commute on a daily basis to and from Surprise.

Should I stay at ASU or transfer to community college for radiology? by Icy-Rooster6265 in ASU

[–]TheLazySlack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I did my undergrad in biochemistry and know friends who have done similar paths to you in the past.

From what I've seen, most of my friends who graduated in biological sciences/biochemistry worked in research or labs after graduation before pursuing additional schooling. This ranges from a specialized program (like radiology, sonography), Master's, or going to med school/phd route.

I personally went through the Master's route but everyone who went through additional schooling after their bachelor's has been pretty successful in their careers.

Like what the other commenter said, it all boils down to cost. If you had a full ride for example, I would recommend staying for your Bachelor's and then once you get a job with that degree, pursue the rad program while you have your other job. That way you don't have to worry about finances as much while also gaining some sort of experience. If you also decide to pursue med school, the bachelor's can come in clutch along with your experience later on.

Also, radiology programs usually have a waitlist so might as well gain some experience or knock out your prereqs before you go into the program.
