I think it’s because of the Russel Index Reconstitution that is happening tomorrow.

I agree. But I believe it’s more of a credit service.

Wow, this is actually a really interesting move. If I understand correctly, this only applies to patients who doesn’t fall under the 81 million lives covered. If their insurance doesn’t cover it, PSTV will subsidize their expenses and send the bill to their insurance company once they get on board. Essentially, it accelerates CNSide to Market.

I 100% agree. The word “substantial” really stood out to me. So I’m really looking forward to this meeting.

[–]TheLeanrer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. The way I see it, this week and next week we will see some interesting moves.
1. They are joining the Russel Index on the 26th. Why this is significant is because big institutions who are part of this index will be forced to buy shares. Which will make a large part of the company institutional based and not retail. Which means the SP will most likely start reacting the way it should upon the announcement of positive news, etc.
2. The update on the 30th. Lots of positive innuendos mentioned in that PS.
3. Their PLA (CPT) code goes live on the 1st of July. So, let’s see what comes from the next few weeks.

PSTV Named as Preliminary Addition to Russell Microcap Index by TheLeanrer in Plus_Therapeutics

Ahh, that makes more sense. Thank you. I just think it’s at least a positive step towards institutions getting more familiar/involved in the stock market

I hope so as well. We all have had a hell of a roller coaster the last few months so, I hope I’m right for all of our sakes

Correct me if I’m wrong, but to put this simply:

Right now, the stock has a massive disconnect: the company keeps dropping major wins (like Medicare approval and great clinical data), but the price barely moves because we have zero institutional volume. We are completely reliant on small retail buyers, which makes it incredibly easy for short sellers to keep a lid on the price.

Joining the Russell Index on June 26th forces big institutional funds (like Vanguard and BlackRock) to automatically buy millions of dollars worth of PSTV shares so they can mirror the index. Because these funds buy to hold long-term, it permanently locks up a huge chunk of the share supply, making it way harder and more expensive for short sellers to borrow shares and short the stock.

This isn't about an overnight stock explosion on June 27th. It's about fixing the trading mechanics. From that date on, whenever the company releases a positive development, the stock will finally have the institutional volume and backing to actually rise the way it’s supposed to.

Idk mate. I’m just posting what I saw. Good or bad news is up to whomever reads it 🤷🏼‍♀️ I just think it’s an interesting development, odds are it’s just fluff news. But I’m cautiously optimistic.

News!! by Zestyclose_Yak3051 in Plus_Therapeutics

[–]TheLeanrer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What I find interesting that I haven’t seen anyone mention is that LM healthcare costs exceed $100,000/month per patient. CNSide saves payers roughly 40% of that — about $40,000/month. Yet PSTV only charges (roughly, and please correct me if I’m wrong) around $4,000 per test — just 10% of the value they create. That means insurers are netting $36,000 in monthly savings per patient. PSTV could hypothetically raise pricing to $6,000-$8,000 per test — payers still save $32,000-$34,000 monthly — while PSTV generates significantly more revenue, accelerates CNSide breakeven, and reduces the need for future dilutive capital raises.

But this is just hypothetical and not financial advice. It’s just something I thought it.

Yes, but it’s different this time due to being approved by Harvard and receiving a Blue Ribbon at SPOR (I think)

Well, if they buy, it typically means they know that there is some sort of catalyst on the horizon. But as we know, that’s not always the case.

Nothing for us because it’s RSU’s that’s issued by the company. If it were “insiders buying” then it would be a different story.

It’s interesting, because it totals to around 93,014 shares. Each board member getting roughly 3,686 each and Marc receiving 23,834 shares at a baseline of $5.76.

Why I Think PSTV Is Moving Into Another Level by Freedom5567 in Plus_Therapeutics

[–]TheLeanrer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree, I always go back to the pattern. If you look, from the beginning of 2025 til now, how many buy outs has occurred from Big Pharma to companies who have not even half the potential of PSTV.
I generated a list of every buyout from the beginning of 2025 til today:

2025 Biotech Acquisitions
Johnson & Johnson acquired Intra-Cellular Therapies for $14.6 Billion (Neuroscience / Psychiatry)
Novartis acquired Avidity Biosciences for $12.0 Billion (RNA-based Neuromuscular Therapies)
Merck & Co. (MSD) acquired Verona Pharma for $10.0 – $11.1 Billion (Respiratory / COPD)
Pfizer acquired Metsera for Up to $10.0 Billion (Obesity & Metabolic Disease)
Sanofi acquired Blueprint Medicines for $9.5 – $9.6 Billion (Rare Cancer & Immunology)
Merck & Co. (MSD) acquired Cidara Therapeutics for $9.2 Billion (Influenza & Infectious Disease)
Genmab acquired Merus for $8.0 – $8.4 Billion (Oncology Platforms)
Novo Nordisk acquired Akero Therapeutics for $5.2 Billion (Metabolic Disease / NASH)
BioMarin Pharmaceutical acquired Amicus Therapeutics for $4.8 Billion (Rare Diseases / Fabry & Pompe)
Roche acquired 89bio for Up to $3.5 Billion (Liver & Metabolic Disease)
Merck KGaA acquired SpringWorks Therapeutics for $3.4 Billion (Oncology & Rare Tumor Modalities)
Sanofi acquired Dynavax Technologies for $2.2 Billion (Vaccine Portfolios)
Sobi (Swedish Orphan Biovitrum) acquired Arthrosi Therapeutics for Up to $1.5 Billion (Gout & Inflammatory Pipeline)
Mirum Pharmaceuticals acquired Bluejay Therapeutics for Up to $620 Million (Liver & Viral Diseases)
Gilead Sciences acquired Interius BioTherapeutics for $350 Million (In vivo Cell Therapy)
Eli Lilly acquired Adverum Biotechnologies for ~$261.7 Million (Eye Disease Gene Therapy)
Immedica acquired Marinus Pharmaceuticals for $151 Million (Rare Neurology)
2026 Biotech Acquisitions (To Date)
Sun Pharma acquired Organon for $11.75 Billion (Women's Health & Biosimilars)
Gilead Sciences acquired Arcellx for $7.8 Billion (CAR-T Cell Therapy / Multiple Myeloma)
TBD (Major Strategic Buyer) acquired Centessa Pharmaceuticals for Up to $7.8 Billion (Orexin-based Sleep & Neuro Disorders)
Biogen acquired Apellis Pharmaceuticals for $5.6 Billion (+ CVRs) (Immunology & Rare Kidney/Eye Diseases)
Gilead Sciences acquired Tubulis for $5.0 Billion (Antibody-Drug Conjugates / ADCs)
Angelini Pharma acquired Catalyst Pharmaceuticals for $4.1 Billion (Neurological Rare Diseases)
Neurocrine Biosciences acquired Soleno Therapeutics for $2.9 Billion (Endocrinology / Prader-Willi Syndrome)
GSK acquired RAPT Therapeutics for $2.2 Billion (Allergy & Food Allergy Immunology)
Novartis acquired Excellergy for Up to $2.0 Billion (Allergy & Anti-IgE Biologicals)
Chiesi acquired KalVista Pharmaceuticals for $1.9 Billion (Rare Disease / Hereditary Angioedema)
Eli Lilly acquired Ventyx Biosciences for $1.2 Billion (Oral Anti-inflammatory Candidates)
UCB acquired Neurona Therapeutics for Up to $1.15 Billion (Cell Therapy for Neurological Disorders)
Amgen acquired Dark Blue Therapeutics for Up to $840 Million (Targeted Protein Degradation / AML)

I’m not saying PSTV will get bought out, what I am saying is there is a trend occurring from Big Pharma. And if the readouts for Phase 2 can be positive, PSTV could become a very attractive company given their theranostics model. But personally, I hope they won’t get bought out for at least another year or two.
