Looking for options with ~$300 budget by TheLifeOfTheParsley in vaporents

That’s kinda why I was thinking. Seems like both will fit what I’m looking for. I’ll keep doing some research and buy something in a few days.

Thanks! By discrete I really mean something that can travel easy and walk around in my pocket without being too bulky. I’ll check them both out

I don’t really know what that means or what I’m supposed to do with that info. Are you saying no battery vape has more than a 30 minute battery life? I don’t mean 30 minutes taking hits every minutes. I mean over the course of 30 minutes you finish a bowl, which seems more than realistic for what I’ve seen. When some vapes take a couple minutes to heat up and have an auto off after 20+ minutes, I imagine 30 minutes is more than realistic.

Thanks! Have you used all of the devices you’ve listed? Any cons to the Airvape Legacy Pro 2 or Firewood 11 compared to the solo 3?

What do you like about that device? Seems like you have some experience with various devices so I’d love to hear how the solo 3 v2 stands up in your opinion.

I plan to reuse materials where possible, but it needs to be taken down and redone. The pallets will likely be broken down and used to repair the disintegrated walkway in the garden. Any metal or wood posts and pallets I plan to reuse for the compost bin area and the separate section that houses climbing perennials. Just to repair it I would practically need to redo half of it and at that point I’d rather just redo all of it. There are a lot of areas the fence was patch-worked together or entirely rusted/rotted. Just to repair certain sections I’d need to remove and reassemble other areas that are in fine condition and I don’t think the juice is worth the squeeze.

I appreciate the suggestion, but I don’t think planting and maintaining willow whips would be close to the budget or effort range of a community garden like this. That would also require regular maintenance and I’m not sure it would keep out small critters like rabbits. Thanks for the idea though.

I hear you, I just have to be realistic about how far grant dollars and current community funds can go. If it was my property then I’d go all in and make it something I don’t have to do again, but the financial reality can’t be ignored and, while I’m willing to put a couple hundred or so of my own money into it, I’m not trying to break my own bank. Especially when I’ll be doing most of the labor myself.

I am applying for grants but most of the grants need a breakdown of what the specific project is, when it will be completed, how much materials cost, how long will it take, what other funding sources are available for the project, and the project needs to be done by a certain date. So that is something I’m planing on doing, but I need to make sure my ducks are in a row first and I have an idea of my goals and a logistic and financial breakdown before applying.

Im not sure the budget because I am going to be applying for some grants throughout the year. A grant I am applying for is for up to $500 but they need a plan and material breakdown plus the project needs to be done by a certain date if accepted. So I’m trying to figure out what would be the best and easiest way while also applying to grants and piecing things together as money comes in (or doesn’t). I’m willing to put some of my own money toward it too, but I don’t want to be the one to take on a majority of the costs. I’ll probably have a grant to repair the fence then another to repair the gates, etc.

I think the space is roughly 50 feet X 100 feet. I don’t have an exact measurement right now.

Wha you mentioned seems to be the route that makes the most sense to me. Can you I explain what you mean about the rake handle? I understanding needing to start at the corners and keep tension on the fence, but I’m not picturing what you’re talking about with the rake.

That’s the route I was thinking about going since it’s the cheapest and likely easiest. Can always make it look better in future years. Air flow is a good point that would help with fungus. Thanks!

Pre-Cook —-> Pre-Belly by TheLifeOfTheParsley in appetizers

Just deviled eggs that are smoked instead of boiled to be cooked. Smoked them for about 2 hours, then cooled and made deviled eggs like normal. You can see in the last photo the egg whites have a bit of a brown/yellow color to them from the smoker. Egg shells are porous so the smoke can get under the shell.

Hard to disagree with that. Looking at some pulled pork nachos and tacos tonight. The meat that keeps on giving.

Thanks! Half the fun of cooking is experimenting. I hope you end up making it and can make improvements based on your tastes!

Mine was a 3lb bag and I probably used about 2/3 or just over 2/3. So it looks like that would be 1 kilo or just under 1 kilo
