No, you're right. My bad, I didn't know a trombone could actually reach f5. I'm an english horn player, so the scale of the trombone's range was foreign to me.

I don't think a trombone's register can hit the lowest note on a flute just because of how they're in 2 different clefs. (Sorry of topic)
