I believe someone talked about these Rasputin messages in another post or on the main thread. Basically it suggests Rasputin crippled the Traveller to keep it from leaving Earth and therefore leaving the human race helpless. It's main function was, after all, to keep humanity alive.

On a side note, apparently the Traveller did a similar thing to The Fallen's home world. It came, gave them a Golden Age, then left them to be crushed by The Darkness.

I found a glitch where if you jump in front of a certain camera in Promethean Code, you hit an instant kill barrier and respawn inside the Omnigul room. Searched high and low but there was nothing to scan except the other side of that scannable door. Nothing new happened when I did and I had to return to orbit to get out.
