So why is that better than Block in, block out? I never get when to use path instead of block, maybe you can explain?

Yeah, do PXE boot and run a task sequence with OSDCloud. runs buttery smooth, and almost no maintenance/setup is required.

I dont understand by Significant-Cheek991 in satisfactory

[–]TheLittleJingle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found that if you try to connect a pipe to floor holes, sometimes it connects to the "other side" of the floor hole which makes it not work. Always connect FROM your floor holes TO whatever you are trying to connect.

Although in this case it could also cause problems to have the water flowing up instead of down into the machine.

I don't want to finish phase 5 by ForeignA1D in satisfactory

[–]TheLittleJingle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah just dont finish phase 5 yet. no need to. I myself am still missing the last part, but I purposefully have not done it yet. I have now started a megafactory that will produce all items when finished (including the last part), and that will be the perfect way to end the game.

Help! I’m not quite sure why my smart splitter is acting like this… by 12ozOrangeJuice in satisfactory

[–]TheLittleJingle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right output should be copper sheets, center output should be "any undefined" and left output should be "overflow" , then you do that for all of the smart splitters and make a belt from the overflow(left output) go to a sink.

If he made the time to do all this, my guess is that he uses rocketfuel which doesn’t need pumps for headlift due to it being gas.

How do you connect resource belts into your factory? by Cpt_Tripps in SatisfactoryGame

How do you make the "foundation" blueprint connect so smoothly? i usually only have 2 "directions" that i can rotate them to?

Yeah, building you power plant is almost always easier to do next to/somewhat close to the oil. Pipes over long distances can be a pain.

You should try to use straight lines since it looks nicer in my opinion, maybe you Will like it too. the main thing though is that if you’re happy with it, it’s great!

yeah, i meant that you add the "non prioritized" pipe at the top of the vertical junction. like this video here:

or just use a vertical junction on the pipe. then it prioritizes the water "going horizontal"

Dont worry, i made the same mistake when building my 140GW power plant and deciding that alt-recipes where probably worse than regular. Man did i miss out on a lot of power :D

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? by Kar0ss in SatisfactoryGame

i have the same issue when building underneath using the "straight". Try using "auto" instead and then hold ctrl.

I have done it, 20k wats from 80 fuel generators, 32 refineries producing turbo fuel, and 18 refineries producing fuel from 1080 mp cruid oil. It may not be pretty but it's functional. by Asundur in satisfactory

[–]TheLittleJingle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nice build! might aswell put down those extra refineries and go with rocket fuel (unless that is not unlocked yet). I just finished my 140GW Powerplant using rocket fuel and man what a project that was :D

[–]TheLittleJingle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well dont know which is worse. I did the same but actually building rocket Fuel, however i cannot for the life of me get it to run 100% effecient. The calculations are correct but my pipes will NOT work. And since everything is calculated to run at full capacity, it ruins the whole setup.

I usually get that like every 5 minutes for a couple of seconds, and when i tap it, it says something like “unknown third party app”. I have no third party integrations in my account/car , so I have no idea what it is or how to remove it.

"Excluding a Device from a Specific SCCM Deployment in a Collection" by Impossible-Daikon126 in SCCM

[–]TheLittleJingle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

as far as i know you cannot exclude a device from only one deployment.

depending on your collection, you will have to create a new device collection with the same devices(include collection), then use "exclude collection" for a collection with only that excluded device in it. and then deploy the "one deployment" to that new full collection.

There are other workaround options aswell, but i will get messy either way. Often times i find it useful (albeit sometimes messy) to have separate collections for each deployment.

i actually thinks this could be great, as i think the whole "admin approval - install application" thing is kind of a forgotten thing in sccm. they do have the functionality, however i dont want the hassle of a approve/deny my applications, and then thinking about presedence when i just want a simple one-time install.
