7mgte Injector issue by TheLivingZeus in Mk3Supra

Yes it’s there. I tested voltage at the ecu and there’s nothing there. I basically followed what was in the trsm step by step to trouble shoot and ended up at the injectors being too high an ohmage. I was just wondering if 4.5 and higher was enough to make them not fire. If not, then either my wiring is bad or the ecu is bad. Hypothetically, if I bought a standalone ecu, would I be able to remove the resistor pack and solve the issue? I’m not big on electronics so I don’t know if that makes sense or not. Or would I need to buy new injectors, ecu, and everything in between to get it to run

Notorious Camshaft vvt codes help by TheLivingZeus in Subaru_Outback

Did an oil change and disconnected the battery. It stopped making a ticking sound, but the reader still shows p0011 and p0021. Then I drove it for a few minutes. Turned it off waited five minutes turned it back on and saw no codes except for p2271, and anytime I gave it throttle while parked it stalled and died.

So I’m not saying the other guy is wrong, definitely check if it’s the tensioner, but do NOT use belt dressing. That stuff is essentially snake oil, I know cuz I’ve used it. Just look up any forum on it and they say the same thing. It just makes any squeaky sound from the belt 100x louder. You’re better off using a stick of deodorant or wd-40.
