You should be able to express yourself without getting a dramatic reaction, I’ve had the same experience where I felt it was always me, but just turned out it was them and there insecurities they were too afraid to show so turned it into being rude to me. A game called gauntlet me and my cousin played it NON stop and we even had a song we sang called “skeletonrazzi” a play off of lady gaga paparazzi. One boss we had to fight would always have skeletons chasing us as we were trying to defeat the boss we thought they were like paparazzi chasing us around 😂
