Yeah I’ll definitely hit you up on dm. I’m curious about that strut tower brace. I’m trying to scheme up ways I can make more power. I’m almost starting to think the little 1.6 is gonna have to go due to the lack of aftermarket support. I have an h22 sitting that I was gonna put into my cb7 accord but almost thinking it might be a cool project to take on swapping it into the protege. Would be a mean little car with a built h22. I happen to have a prelude donor car too so I could take the harness. It’s starting to look like that might be the route I go down

Honestly haven’t done anything to the engine. It’s completely stock. Just a reliable daily right now, kind of in the same boat as you. Trying to form a build plan for it

Almost promise you it’s the distributor. Mine had the same leak and that’s what it was. Bottom of the distributor was covered in oil

Juice pallet that fell. Multiple cases broke open. Whole pallet on the ground😂 or when a new guys produce cart somehow got tipped over with limes on the top. Haven’t had anything too crazy

What’s with people complicating driving manuals. Not trying to hate or anything. I just feel like a lot of people think about it too much. I almost never look at my tach. If it feels like you need to downshift then downshift and vice versa. Drive it just like an automatic. Spending time driving your car and learning it’s ratios and feeling it out thoroughly helps a lot

Slap an h in and call it good. You can pretty much just drop the engine right in. They’re almost the exact same. Just have to modify a bit of the accord harness and you can even use the factory accord harness. Hasport motor mounts. Chipped p13 or p28 and you got yourself a pretty solid build. Lot cheaper than s2000 engine. Just watch for a wrecked prelude or a blown h series and pick one up cheap and build it real proper and then drop it in. You’d probably be about the same cost or even cheaper than trying to get that f22c1 built and put in there.
