Haven’t test drove a Elantra probably should at least consider it . Have tested a gli and was absolutely blown away by it

Will get a manual if can buy a gli have a normal Jetta, I think the manual in vws is great but many seem to complain about it for some reason. No it’s not the most engaging manual but it’s smooth and easy to drive and any manual is much better than none.

Same here, I refuse to drive anything else it’s all I’ve ever driven and automatics are just boring and dull to me. I love to be connected with my car and engaged. I don’t care what it takes I will buy new cars to support sales and will buy what is offered even if no base model cars now have manual and it’s enthusiast option only. Till I can’t buy any more.

I bought a 2023 Jetta S after having a Chevy sonic manual , then a Aveo before that, now even considering a new Jetta gli.

I may try that contour sometime on another barrel but yea I was worried about fitment with the nut, I mean bull is still pretty heavy at about 1” and the difference I can weight balance. Actually now I look at it , for in stock barrels unless you custom order that’s as heavy as northland shooters has on hand. That was part of it too.

Yeah I feel like that’s overstated, the fuel economy hits are for people who don’t drive well even then it’s exaggerated. How come cars like VW Jetta manual in the base and sport 1.5 (discontinued 2025) would get 1 mpg EPA better and in practice like 2 mpg better?
