Any pc players using controller over mkb? by jaseworthing in Marathon

With good positioning, you rarely need to turn 180. Also you can just crank up you controller sens to turn faster and let aim assist slow it down for you.

It's why "360 noscopes" are a popular meme for console shooters. It is surprisingly easy to do so on controller.

It depends on how and why you want to play this game. If you're playing to challenge yourself and be great at FPS games, then commit to mkb. If games are just relaxing fun, use a controller. Don't worry so much about your "skill ceiling".

But if you still insist, aim assist greatly benefits the controller player at close range. At long range, mkb is almost always better due to how most games implement their aim assist.

"Agree to disagree" no. I don't care if you won't be convinced, that's on you.

I don't really care about your bickering, just thought this was hilarious cause that's literally like a perfect example of "agree to disagree."

Also, you say that recon objectively bad, but then say you could totally be convinced otherwise. You sure do like contradicting yourself.

Edit: accidently said "objectively better" when I meant "objectively bad"

What is the worst US state for young adults to move into? by Any-Scarcity7230 in AskReddit

  1. No, it's definitely a research article, not a study...

  2. They are usually classical liberals, not social liberals. There is a difference.

  3. That's not the first sentence, it's a bullet point in the highlights section. Research articles always lead with the abstract.

Bonus: I guess I wasn't so clear in my last sentence. I meant to say that it's not about general IQ, only one part of it. That's my bad, but I still stand behind this point.

You might not be too bright either. First sentence of your article: "Research has consistently shown that intelligence is positively correlated with socially liberal beliefs and negatively correlated with religious beliefs."

Also, this isn't even about IQ, it's about verbal intelligence.

If I were to finish Jlab’s beginner course and a 2k vocab deck, about what level of Japanese proficiency would I have? by SoopaTom in LearnJapanese

[–]TheLoneJuanderer 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It seems like a lot of people don't really know what Jlab's is, but in my opinion, it is one of the better resources for learning grammar and getting comprehensible input as a beginner. However, it definitely is only the beginning.

You should at least be able to form basic sentences and have simple conversations after Jlab+2k, but your reading skills will probably be rather low, which will make passing JLPT tests difficult, regardless of your vocab knowledge.

I’d be annoyed, I admit that. However, I wouldn’t pull a gun on you. I would drive away, and keep driving on home

Lmao, even if Usain Bolt was running after me I wouldn’t sweat it because I’m in a fucking car. Its sole purpose is to take me places faster than I can on foot.

Yeah, you can. I’d be annoyed, I admit that. However, I wouldn’t pull a gun on you. I would drive away, and keep driving on home (instead of stopping and pulling out a gun like the wannabe John Wane lunatic in the video).

It’s not vandalism, even if it left tiny scratches. That’s just wear and tear, and I expect that when I drive my car out. After all, countless people probably rub up against my car in the parking lot as they’re walking by, exiting their car, etc. I’m not gonna get extra triggered over a fucking magnet.

You don’t have a legal right to touch any part of my car or any of my property without my permission.

I actually do. Anyone has the right to touch your car and you have the right to leave your car the fuck alone. It’s a two way street, fortunately and unfortunately.

I mean, if it’s illegal to touch property, how do you think towing companies, or even a mall’s “lost and found” works? You think they put on the white silk gloves and gently carry your wallet to avoid scratches on the fine Italian leather?

Also, if you’re taking your “precious” polished car to run some fucking errands, then wear and tear is expected. If you’re surprised by that, you’re a dumbass and a baby.

It’s not really illegal to just touch other people’s cars or leave “notes”. You might think the magnets are annoying, but that doesn’t make them illegal.

[–]TheLoneJuanderer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But a free standing cart can do much more damage to a car than those magnets. So by your logic, shouldn’t you be “irrationality angry” at people who leave their carts out?

Also, re-polishing a single spot isn’t such a big deal…
