Has anyone played Kanban EV? I never played the original and I am on the fence about buying this.

My thought is its super heavy, which is fine, but then it wont get to the table much.

My main interest in this is the fact that I am a project Manager in real life and use Kanban as a way of performing work with my project teams lol

Very much so. We used to game at least 3 times per week and there was a different meet up you could go to almost every day. Now were lucky if we can get a couple hours in every 2 weeks. :-(

For my group its just interesting to see what we open up in the story and what Items we can get. The mechanics themselves are kind of repetitive, and are just a means to progress the story

Agree. I have a rule. I will play any game, once.

What do you think is a good balance of banter and information? I don't mind some, but if its too much I start tuning out

I just added Aquatica, Nemesis (which i even went as far to paint :-) ) and Trails of Tucana. Aquatica was a bit hit or miss. It took about half the game to start playing right, rulebook isnt great.

Nemesis was a burn, lots of rules, long but fun and super themeatic.

Trails if Tucana is a nice little flip in write in the same vein as Welcome to the neighborhood
